As an associate in the Financial Institutions Group of the Corporate Practice in Hong Kong, Katherine Tsang provides advice to financial institutions and other companies, with a focus on regulatory compliance, insurance, funds and employment matters.
I have been working in the Corporate Transactional department in Rome since 2014. I mainly work on cross-border business transactions, from due-diligence to closing, and handling of claims; I also provide assistance in corporate governance issues.
When I joined the Corporate Department of the Milan office back in 2012 I was impressed by the pleasant and friendly environment. My new colleagues welcomed me warmly and I felt immediately as part of a team. I am Counsel of our Employment Team in Rome and I assist clients in all aspects of employment law, also with regard to transnational issues.

After eight years in the Export Department of a company specialized in the extraction, production and sale of marble and natural stone, I joined Hogan Lovells in 2011 as a member of the billing department.
I joined Hogan Lovells in March 2015 initially covering a colleague's maternity leave in the business services department, assisting the human resources and finance teams. I was subsequently promoted to paralegal in the IPMT practice group in March 2016.
Over 15 years have passed since I joined Hogan Lovells (at the time Lovells) as a paralegal in 2002. During this time I have seen many changes in our office and I am proud to have contributed to some of these developments.

I joined the firm as a paralegal in 1999 and worked in the Product Liability team for 18 months. I subsequently spent 10 years in an IT support role.
Broadly speaking, my practice is exactly what it says on the tin – any dispute or regulatory investigation with a financial services aspect. More often than not the client is a financial institution, such as a bank or a fund, but I have also acted for other corporates.
