Abbey Simmons

Legal Executive
Birmingham

I joined Hogan Lovells Birmingham in January 2015. It is exciting to be part of an office which is relatively new and developing. I feel proud to be a part of the growth of the office.

I decided to join Hogan Lovells because of the variety of work offered, I was also attracted to the firm's pro-bono/citizenship programmes – which have given me a range of interesting and enjoyable opportunities. I work within the real estate team advising market-leading clients on a wide variety of interesting property matters ranging from licences to assisting on large scale projects.

In my role I work closely with my colleagues in Birmingham and London as part of a single integrated Real Estate team, which means that I always have support if I need it. I also have the opportunity to get involved with new initiatives such as testing new technology for the firm and new approaches to client relationship management. I love how varied my role is, including my citizenship commitments. I have had the privilege of mentoring school children as part of the Mosaic mentoring programme.
