Although I am currently specialized in the litigation and arbitration area, my starts in Hogan Lovells were as a Summer Legal Intern in the Regulatory sector. I was really interested in the firm so I decided to take a chance on one of the areas which looked more familiar to me.

It was a wonderful experience as I was able to learn not only useful aspects about the regulated sectors with which I got to work, but also about the firm itself and how it looks like working at Hogan Lovells.

The good time I had had at the firm made me choose Hogan Lovells as my place to do my internship of the Master in Admission to the Bar. However, the fascinating master class given by several litigation lawyers of the firm, made me redirect my preferences and end up preferring the Litigation area to work as a Junior Lawyer.

As a litigation lawyer, I deal with companies of the most various sectors, advising and representing them in their operating difficulties in order to provide practical solutions to complex problems. My daily work consists in searching wise solutions and preparing judicial or extrajudicial writs for the defence of our clients. From the beginning, I have assumed responsibilities of all kind and have been able to work with other offices and areas of practice, which have allowed me to acquire all professional skills which demand this profession.

Why did you choose Hogan Lovells?

There are two aspects which have always been essential for me when thinking about my professional future: (i) my working place shall help me to grow and get as far as I can in the field in which I decide to get specialized, and (ii) my working team shall be at the same time serious and professional but also friendly and collaborative in order to work hard in a pleasant environment.

I can undoubtedly say that I have found both features in Hogan Lovells. From a professional perspective, the firm allows you to specialize from the start in a specific area and encourages you to work with clients and offices from all around the world, which contributes to your formation as an international lawyer. From a personal point of view, I can say that the working environment cannot be better as everyone at the firm is completely accessible and it is possible to combine hard work with great laughter.
