Francesca Lauro

Counsel
Rome

I am Counsel of our Employment Team in Rome and I assist clients in all aspects of employment law, also with regard to transnational issues.

I have been working with Lovells (before its merger with Hogan & Hartson) since its opening in Italy in 2000 and, after about ten years' experience in another law firm, in 2014 I was back with Hogan Lovells.

Why go back to a firm I had "left"?

Because among international law firms, Hogan Lovells has an approach to work and values that I fully support.

Work is very stimulating, with high quality standards (also thanks to 360 degree training, even on soft skills) and true knowledge of our clients' business that provides targeted, effective and proactive assistance. The work environment is meanwhile informal, collaborative and promotes teamwork.

Furthermore, Hogan Lovells actively promotes ethical values, citizenship, sustainability and inclusion, allowing us (and indeed requiring us) to become personally involved in achieving important objectives mainly within the scope of our Diversity, Pro-Bono, Community Investment and Global Giving and Environment programme.

In this context, I am a member of our Diversity Team and I am committed – both personally and as an expert in employment law – to promoting inclusive conduct, gender equality, anti-discrimination and prevention of harassment at work.
