Grow your profession in a dynamic way

Personal growth

I was diligently looking for work after college and was contacted by a recruiting firm to interview with then-Hogan & Hartson. I started as a billing clerk and loved it. I was thrilled to have obtained a position at such a well-regarded firm. I began with filing papers and entering data in a department of three.

Throughout the years, I’ve transitioned from clerk, to billing assistant, to billing coordinator, and finally to electronic billing analyst, my current role. I love that Hogan Lovells has provided me with opportunities for growth. I’ve been able to significantly expand my legal billing knowledge and skills. With the experience I’ve obtained, I now have the opportunity to assist others with electronic billing related issues.  I enjoy helping others and providing training whenever needed.

Consistently high quality

Team building and support are very important at Hogan Lovells. We strive to provide great customer service to our lawyers, clients, and colleagues. In the billing department, we support each other as much as possible. Managers and directors are always there when guidance and support is needed. We maintain communication throughout the various offices to keep ahead of new developments and discuss any road blocks that we might encounter.

Deep relationships

Over the years, I’ve become close with several of my colleagues. We’re like a family ― we celebrate milestones in each other's lives and push each other to achieve our career goals. I credit my growth to having a supportive network of teammates across the country.

One pro bono client has stood out for me. KIND is an organization that serves unaccompanied children who face the U.S. immigration system alone. Several lawyers in our office assist these children, and I volunteer to translate their meetings. I enjoy this, and feel that I’m making a difference. I’m very proud to work with a group of lawyers who take on this work with the same passion as they do their other projects.
