Having qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia, before relocating to Hong Kong in 2011, Derrick Lau focuses his practice on all areas of debt financing.

My advice to future applicants is to spend time researching the firm to work out its distinguishing features. A great way to see if a firm is a good fit for you is to speak as many people at the firm as possible; as you will be spending a lot of time with your colleagues, it's important to feel comfortable!
