Sandra Clark

I joined Hogan Lovells in 2008 as a Float PA and spent my first few months working across the Litigation and Arbitration groups within the firm.

This gave me a great insight into how the firm operated and I quickly gained valuable experience covering many varied PA roles.  I accepted an offer to become a permanent PA within the Insurance & Reinsurance Group, working for a partner and various fee earners and have been with the group ever since. My role has evolved over the years and, along with the regular PA duties involved in looking after busy fee earners, a fair amount of my time is now spent on business development activities for the group, including our Global Insurance Blog and liaising with the insurance lawyers in our offices around the world to bring the latest information on insurance hot topics to the attention of our clients. 

My role is varied and enjoyable, and I work with a great team of people. I was recently very excited to be given the opportunity to participate in an assessment for promotion to Senior PA and, with the support of my team and PA Team Leader, was successful.  It has been great for me to be able to take this step up, both in terms of personal and career progression, and I look forward to many more years supporting my team and the firm in the best and most efficient way possible.
