Sabrina Borocci

Sabrina is a partner in Hogan Lovells’ Milan and Rome offices and a member of the Antitrust practice. 

Sabrina's practice  in particular focuses on Italian and EU antitrust matters, including merger control filings and cartel and abuse of dominant position investigations in various industries, with a specific focus on digital media and telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and energy.

She advises clients on compliance with the competition rules with respect to a wide range of commercial agreements, including distribution and agency agreements, long-term supply agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. She also prepares clients for internal antitrust audits and cartel authority investigations (dawn raids). 

In addition, Sabrina advises on regulated matters. On antitrust matters she provides full service assistance both at compliance level and at a litigation level. 

She started her professional career in 1998 as competition law and consumers law associate in a boutique law firm in Rome. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, she was a counsel at Clifford Chance from 2002 to 2013 and then partner in an Italian boutique law firm. She was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2003.

Described by clients as 'a fine competition lawyer who thinks about issues in environments that are heavily regulated and really tries to make various elements sit together'.
