Hogan Lovells advises KLK Emmerich on its acquisition of Temix Oleo

Temix Oleo is an Italian oleochemical company focused on the production of Esters mainly based on renewable feed stocks, and delivering solutions for industries. The transaction will allow further development of KLK Emmerich, a subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, and a global integrated oleochemical producer with manufacturing sites in Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Europe.

The Hogan Lovells team was led by a cross practice team led by partner Luca Picone, with support from senior associate Martino Filippi, associate Marina Massaro and trainee Giuseppe Angiò. Partner Sabrina Borocci and senior associate Aurora Muselli advised on the antitrust aspects of the transaction, with support from partner Martin Sura and associates Giulia Matt and Philipp Reckers from the Düsseldorf office.
