Pro Bono | EMEA
The third annual European Pro Bono Week celebrates the role played by volunteer lawyers, all across Europe, in supporting civil society and human rights organizations and promoting access to justice for those in need. Many events take place across the Continent (see how to register below) to highlight and promote pro bono culture. You can find the full programme here.
European Pro Bono Week is co-organized by the “European Pro Bono Initiative” (comprising several international law firms), TrustLaw, PILnet and the European Pro Bono Alliance (comprising several national pro bono clearinghouses and legal aid organizations across Europe).

This event is held together with the firms pro bono partner Droits d’Urgence, with a two-part discussion addressing challenges of the ongoing health crisis. The first part will focus on continuing pro bono access to justice, and solutions dealing with lack of physical access to the prefectures, e.g. digitalising procedures and systematic recourse to interim orders (“référé mesure utile”); with the second part addressing the legislation and the implementation of remote working agreements. Hogan Lovells experts will share their pro bono experiences in relation to both.
