Dr. Marion Fischer
A senior associate in our IPMT Group, Marion Fischer focuses on all matters relating to patent and trademark law and brings extensive experience in handling IP questions in commercial transactions in a diverse range of industry sectors, such as life sciences, automotive and information technology. Her practice also includes advising on the drafting and negotiation of licensing and technology contracts as well as representation in litigious unfair competition law matters. Marion is intent on anticipating and solving clients' challenges in the day-to-day business as well as with regard to complex and unusual IP issues.
She focuses on providing practical approaches, be it on avoiding IP litigation or initiating it, be it quick hands-on advice on unfair competition law matters or an extensive memorandum analysing sophisticated questions in trademark law. Marion studied law at the University of Passau, Germany, and Capital University in Columbus, OH, USA. She spent part of her legal traineeship in the legal department of an international film production company in Munich and in Hogan Lovells' Alicante office where she worked in the field of Community Trademark Law.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Marion worked as a legal assistant at the Institute for Copyright and Media Law in Munich.
