Hogan Lovells advises the Russian Federation on the construction project of the Russian cultural and spiritual centre in Paris

Hogan Lovells assisted the Russian Federation throughout the construction project of the Russian cultural and spiritual centre located quai Branly in Paris. The central dome was placed on the cathedral on Saturday 19 March.

The firm advised the Russian Federation on the search and acquisition of the land, the architectural selection, the negotiation of the contracts with the service providers and the French State, as owner of the neighbouring buildings, as well as on the litigation aspects.

The multi-disciplinary Hogan Lovells team advising on this matter was led by Xenia Legendre, French-Russian partner, who has already advised Russian companies on a large number of matters, assisted by Corinne Knopp, partner, and Laure Nguyen, Counsel, for the real estate and construction aspects, Antoine Juaristi, partner, and Géraldine Marteau, Counsel, for litigation matters before the French civil courts, as well as Ludovic Babin, partner, and Marie Paquier, senior associate, for litigation matters before the French administrative courts.
