Hogan Lovells advises Buy Way on its public consumer loan receivables securitisation

Brussels, 2 April 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells team has advised Buy Way Personal Finance SA (Buy Way) on the set-up of a new public ABS transaction for its portfolio of Belgian and Luxembourg revolving credit and instalment loan agreements. The transaction was arranged by Deutsche Bank AG, with Deutsche Bank AG, Natixis and BNP Paribas as joint lead managers.

Buy Way is the point of sale credit leader in Belgium and Luxembourg and has developed its model based on partnerships with major players in the retail industry.

The transaction has been structured to comply with the requirements regarding simple, transparent, and standardized securitizations (STS) and the notes are listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The multi-jurisdictional team was led by Brussels partner Philip Van Steenwinkel, with core support from associate Sean Jonckheere, Luxembourg partner Ariane Mehrshahi, senior associate Valérie Laskowski and Agnes Merz, and Paris partner Sharon Lewis, counsel Ailsa Davies and associate Joanna Veitch.
