Office Managing Partner
Lucas Osorio is the Madrid Office Managing Partner and a partner in the Corporate practice. He has extensive experience advising on strategic alliances, M&A and PPP projects, with special focus on infrastructures. He is a former State Lawyer (Abogado del Estado), having worked for seven years in the Spanish public sector on matters of administrative law, public procurement, and regulatory law.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, he was general counsel and secretary general at the listed company Cintra (Grupo Ferrovial), one of the world's leading transport infrastructure companies. He worked there for 12 years, focusing on infrastructure assets acquisitions, including highways, airports and car parks in various jurisdictions (acquisition of BAA, 407 ETR).
He has been Director and/ or Secretary of many companies and currently he is Secretary of the Board of Directors of Metrovacesa, one of Spain's leading real estate companies.
Lucas serves regularly as arbitrator in multiple arbitration courts, including CIMA, Corte de Arbitraje de Madrid, and LNFP.
