Represented Michael Arougheti, Mitchell Goldstein, and Michael Smith in purchasing the Baltimore Orioles MLB franchise, in partnership with Baltimore native David Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Carlyle Group.

Advised Fenway Sports Group (FSG) and a consortium of American Sports team owners in a multi-billion dollar partnership with PGA TOUR to launch PGA TOUR Enterprises, a new commercial venture that will operate the PGA’s golf assets.

Represented a consortium led by Josh Harris in the acquisition of the NFL’s Washington Commanders for a reported US$6.05 billion, the highest value sports franchise transaction in U.S. history.

Advised Inter Miami CF in the acquisition of star player Lionel Messi.

Advised NBA star Russell Westbrook in his investment in Leeds United by way of his investment with 49ers Enterprises.

Advised Asahi on its sponsorship of the Aston Martin and Ferrari F1 teams, the City Football Group, the 2023 Ryder Cup and the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Advised the Walton-Penner family with respect to the acquisition of the Denver Broncos.

Advising Mikhail Prokhorov in multi-staged agreements to acquire the Brooklyn Nets from Forest City and in multi-staged agreements to sell his entire interest in the Barclays Center to Joe Tsai.

Advising Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc. on creating ASM Global, a joint venture with Onex Partners to run the global venue management businesses of AEG Facilities and SMG.

Representing Arctos Capital in connection with its approval to be an NBA Member, and its acquisition of a minority interest in the Golden State Warriors.

Advised the Tampa Bay Lightning in one of the first private equity investments in National Hockey League history as Arctos Sports Partners made a minority equity investment into Vinik Sports Group.

Advised Miami Beckham United, LLC and majority owners Jorge and José Mas in connection with the recapitalization of MLS franchise Inter Miami CF featuring an equity investment by Ares Capital.

Advising Major League Soccer franchise Seattle Sounders on a series of transactions resulting in a reorganization of its ownership structure.

Advised the San Antonio Spurs with reorganization and private equity investments from MSD Capital and Sixth Street Capital.

Constructed group licensing program for Boise State as they built a student-athlete-friendly NIL program.

Represented five Major League Baseball (MLB) clubs in salary arbitration proceedings, including the Miami Marlins, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets.

Represented emerging sports leagues with respect to various matters including the Drone Racing League, Major League Cricket (MLC), and USA Rugby.

Representing para-sport organisations, including the British Paralympic Association, International Paralympic Committee, GB Wheelchair Rugby, World Wheelchair Rugby and Japanese Paralympic Committee.
