Since joining Hogan Lovells Luxembourg as a founding team member, Alexander Koch has brought his wealth of experience in Luxembourg corporate law and commercial matters including mergers, demergers, acquisitions, corporate finance, restructuring and legal advice around insolvency to local and international clients from a wide range of industries, such as private equity, real estate, automotive, energy, etc.

He also engages actively in the development and training of the future generation of lawyers, acting as a mentor for our corporate practice associates.

Alexander has a quite international education and professional experience. He trained at the United Nations in Geneva and at a leading Swedish law firm in Stockholm. He worked for six years in the corporate department of a well-respected Benelux law firm in Luxembourg prior to joining Hogan Lovells as senior associate.

Swissport, an aviation industry key player, on his acquisition of Aerocare, one Australian and New Zealand air services market leader for USD 620 million.

ACON in the acquisition of the Spanish Contenur, active in providing solutions for urban waste management, through a Luxembourg investment and financing platform.

Listed U.S. company PerkinElmer, on the acquisition of EUROIMMUN Medizinische Labordiagnostika for EUR 1.2 billion, by way of a share deal.
