Tim Oliver Brandi looks back on more than 25 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and corporate law. Tim heads the corporate and mergers & acquisitions team of the Frankfurt office of Hogan Lovells.

Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH on the granting of €6bn recapitalization aid by the German Economic Stabilisation Fund to Deutsche Lufthansa AG in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.

Advising the German Federal Ministry of Finance on the €18.2bn recapitalisation of Commerzbank AG and the grant of a €15bn guarantee by SoFFin under the German bank stabilisation scheme.

Advising the German Federal Agency for Financial Market Stabilization on the restructuring of Portigon AG and the transfer of risk assets in the nominal amount of €100bn to Erste Abwicklungsanstalt.

Advising FMS Wertmanagement on the acquisition of a portfolio consisting of risk assets of Hypo Real Estate Group in the total nominal amount of €173bn and on the organisational set-up of FMS-WM.

Advising Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, DZ Bank, the German Savings Bank Association and other banks on the sale of Concardis GmbH to Advent International and Bain Capital.
