Sylvia regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, public takeovers and private equity transactions across a range of industry sectors. Sylvia also has experience advising on regulatory issues relating to the pharmaceuticals, education, fintech and manufacturing industry.

Advised PhonePe Private Limited, Singapore on the separation of ownership of PhonePe Private Limited, India, a digital payments platform, from Flipkart Private Limited.

Advised Navis Capital Partners, as investor and buyer, on the acquisition of a controlling stake in a sports company with global operations in soccer, rugby and endurance sports.

Advised a US headquartered multinational corporation on its acquisition of shares in a Singapore incorporated company for US$3bn. 

Advised Navis Capital Partners in its acquisition of a majority stake in Ambassador Education Group Co., Ltd., an operator of schools throughout Thailand.

Advised AvePoint, Inc., the world's largest independent software vendor of SaaS solutions, on its 100% acquisition of i-Access Solutions Pte. Ltd., a leading provider of web-based training solutions.

Advised Woodward, Inc. on the purchase of the PM Control Systems Group, a leading vertically-integrated provider of energy control solutions with operations in Brazil, Indonesia and Singapore.

Advised an international leader in renewable energy in its investment in a rooftop solar power developer in Vietnam.

Advised a consortium of international funds in its bid for a Japanese company operating a platform of renewable projects in Japan and Taiwan.

Advised a consortium of Japanese companies in its bid for a Vietnamese company which operates hydropower plants, solar power plants and onshore wind projects in Vietnam.

Advised a consortium comprising Thai and Japanese companies in its bid for two offshore wind farms which are being developed in Taiwan.

Advised Gift Management Asia, a Singapore-based company, in its Series C fundraising by way of an issuance of a Convertible Note of US$50 million to a private equity fund managed by Apis Partners.

Advised an early stage venture fund in its investment in Appboxo Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based startup which facilitates the development of mini-apps.

Advised SpeQtral Pte. Ltd. on its fundraising by way of the issuance of Series Seed Plus Preference Shares to Xora Innovation Pte. Ltd., an early-stage deep tech investing platform of Temasek.
