With comprehensive experience in both business and law, he understands key technical nuances, making him a strong partner in handling complex matters.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Ben represented public and emerging growth companies, private equity sponsors, and venture capital investors on a variety of corporate transactions. In graduate school, Ben served as President of Duke's Graduate and Professional Student Council and was an editor for the Duke Law and Technology Review.

Marvell Technology Group in its US$400m acquisition of Aquantia.

New Road Capital Partners in its preferred equity investment in Emerge.

Persistent Energy Capital in connection with sale and issuance of its Series B round.

Persistent Energy Capital in connection with preferred equity investments in early stage energy companies.

Advised Mountaingate Capital on its strategic investment in BioDerm Inc., a health care company focused on providing disposable medical devices and wound care supplies. 

Represented Valoreo in connection with its $30.0 million Series A financing.

Represented MeritB2B Holdings, LP, a portfolio company of Mountaingate Capital, in connection with its acquisition of True Influence.

Represented Oracle Corporation in connection with its $28.3 billion acquisition of Cerner Corporation.
