Russell Slanover has 33 years of structured finance experience that spans most securitization asset types and structures. He draws on that experience to help fashion creative structures and solutions to meet the needs of clients in an ever-changing marketplace.
Russell's background as an aerospace engineer gives him strong quantitative skills and a problem solving aptitude that his clients value. He helps them deal with innovative financial transactions and structures and crafts solutions to effectively address complex legal and business issues.
Russell represents issuers, underwriters, placement agents, investors, borrowers, lenders, insurers, and other parties in a wide range of structured finance, debt capital markets, project finance, and restructuring transactions in the United States and internationally. He has particular experience in emerging markets.
Russell helps clients with structured finance transactions backed by residential mortgage loans, credit card receivables, vehicle loans and leases, vessel charters, consumer loans, bank diversified payment rights, credit card merchant vouchers, export receivables, oil royalties, construction and service payments, and concession payments. He also works with clients on project finance transactions involving toll roads, oil and gas exploration assets, fossil fuel power plants, hydroelectric power plants, and cogeneration facilities.
