Claudette Christian, Isabel Costa Carvalho, and Graciela Llaneza Among Latinvex's Top Female Lawyers

Latinvex has selected Hogan Lovells’ partners Claudette Christian, Isabel Costa Carvalho, and Graciela Llaneza to its annual list of the “Top 100 Female Lawyers” specializing in Latin America among international law firms.

Latinvex has selected Hogan Lovells’ partners Claudette Christian, Isabel Costa Carvalho, and Graciela Llaneza to its annual list of the “Top 100 Female Lawyers” specializing in Latin America among international law firms.

Latinvex chose attorneys from 57 law firms and ten practice areas. The criteria for selection included a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business and prominence of the firm in Latin America.

Christian, the founding managing partner of Hogan Lovells' two Brazil offices, has played a key role in the development of Brazil's oil and gas industry for almost 20 years. She advises on a wide array of financing, corporate, and arbitration issues.

Carvalho, a partner in the firm’s São Paulo office, assists Brazilian companies in international transactions, including listing their shares on the NYSE, guiding them in corporate governance structuring, raising capital to fund business development, and assisting on cross-border M&A transactions.

Llaneza, head of Hogan Lovells’ Private Equity practice in Spain, advises financial investors on domestic and cross-border transactions, as well as Spanish and international companies on M&A transactions in the financial services, consumer, healthcare, and energy sectors.
