Hogan Lovells wins Diversity Initiative of the Year at the UK Diversity Legal Awards

Hogan Lovells' work on trans inclusion has been named Diversity Initiative of the Year at the UK Diversity Legal Awards. The award recognises an initiative that has made a tangible difference in creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace, with the intention of highlighting best practice in the legal profession.

Hogan Lovells' new Trans Inclusion Policy sets out guidelines for transitioning gender in the workplace, including information on the resources and guidance the firm can offer. Meanwhile our bespoke Trans Inclusion Training is available to all people in the firm and covers practical considerations, advice on how to communicate with our people and clients using appropriate language, and where to go for confidential support.

Hogan Lovells has long championed transgender rights in the workplace, and has represented transgender rights clients on a pro bono basis several times. We received the award at a ceremony celebrating and recognising diversity across the legal profession, which took place at the Grange St Paul's Hotel on 28 November.
