Hogan Lovells senior associate Stacy Hadeka named among American Bar Association's "On the Rise" honorees
Washington, D.C., 9 July 2019 – Hogan Lovells senior associate Stacy Hadeka has been named among recipients of the American Bar Association (ABA) "On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyer" award for 2019. This prestigious legal industry award identifies and honors 40 young lawyers who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.
Hadeka is a member of Hogan Lovells' Government Contracts Practice, and serves clients primarily in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services (ADG) industry sector. The ABA noted that Hadeka has "developed a deep understanding of the government contracts issues and complex regulations impacting those clients."
Hadeka maintains a dynamic practice dedicated to handling sophisticated client matters. She effectively counsels and represents clients on a variety of legal issues, including bid protests and contracts disputes. Hadeka also maintains a strong government investigations and compliance practice where she advises on compliance risks, opportunities, and solutions.
Outside her practice, Hadeka is active in the ABA and in the development of young lawyers. Within the ABA she serves as Co-Chair of the Subcontracting, Teaming, and Strategic Alliances Committee and the Young Lawyers Committee. She also serves as a Public Contract Law Section liaison to the ABA Young Lawyer Division and will soon serve as a co-chair of the Division's Public Contract Law Committee. She also serves on the board of directors for a non-profit organization supporting wounded veterans, The Sentinels of Freedom, and on the associate advisory board at Fair Chance, a non-profit organization supporting disadvantaged youth in the DC area.
Hadeka joined the firm in 2015 having earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2010 and attended the George Washington University Law School for her Master of Laws in Public Procurement. Her full public profile can be found here.
