Hogan Lovells Ranked as Leading Firm by Global Arbitration Review for Sixth Consecutive Year
26 February 2015
LONDON, 26 February 2015 –Hogan Lovells' global international arbitration group has been ranked fourth place in Global Arbitration Review's (GAR) annual listing of the world's most active international arbitration practices for the second year running. This is the sixth consecutive year that Hogan Lovells received recognition as a leading firm in this high-profile list.
The GAR 30 ranking was revealed at the annual GAR Awards Dinner, on 25 February 2015.
Unlike other arbitration law firm rankings, the GAR 30 is based on a number of key performance indicators, including hours billed to arbitration and number of hearings. GAR referenced Hogan Lovells' strong performance across all of their measurements as key to our high ranking.
Hogan Lovells Global Head of International Arbitration Daniel Gonzalez said:
"This ranking is a testament to our leading international arbitration practice and the hard work and dedication of our entire team. It is a great achievement and exemplifies our deep bench of experience, and commitment to client service.”
Hogan Lovells was also singled-out for its experience with investment treaty disputes, including many instructions from both investors and governments such as China, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Venezuela and Vietnam. GAR also noted that our increasing focus on Africa and Latin America had strengthened our practice.
