We are delighted to announce that we were named Japan Foreign Firm of the Year at the Managing IP Asia Pacific Awards for the third consecutive year. Hogan Lovells was also shortlisted in three other categories: China Foreign Firm of the Year, Asia Pacific IP Transactions and Advisory Firm of the Year, and Asia Pacific IP Firm of the Year.

The annual awards are presented to law firms, practitioners and in-house IP teams behind the most innovative and challenging work over the past 12 months.

Lloyd Parker, Head of Intellectual Property, Media and Technology for Asia Pacific and the Middle East at Hogan Lovells, said: "Our team is delighted to receive these recognitions from Managing IP. The Japan Foreign Firm of the Year award is being received for the third consecutive year and the fourth time in the last five years. Ultimately we have our clients to thank for these awards. We are privileged to work for many of the world's most valuable brand owners and innovators and are honored that they trust us with their important IP matters on a daily basis. In return, I am delighted to see how all members of our Asia Pacific IP team collaborate so well together and put our clients and their business needs at the center of everything that we do."

This follows our success earlier in the year at the Managing IP EMEA Awards where we were named French Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year and Russian Patent Firm of the Year, and shortlisted in 12 further categories across the region. The team was also shortlisted for Americas IP Firm of the Year and Mexico Copyright Firm of the Year at the Managing IP Americas Awards.

Hogan Lovells was named Global IP Firm of the Year by Managing IP for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2018.
