Awards & rankings | 08 October 2019

Hogan Lovells has today been ranked as one of the Top 75 employers in the Social Mobility Employer Index 2019 for the third consecutive year.

The Index is the creation of the Social Mobility Foundation and is published in partnership with sponsors the City of London Corporation. It ranks the UK’s employers based on the actions they are taking to ensure they are open to accessing and progressing talent from all backgrounds.

Over 100 employers from 18 sectors, who collectively employ over one million people, entered the 2019 Index which assesses employers across seven areas, including work with young people, recruitment and selection processes, and how people from lower income backgrounds progress within the organisation.

This year’s Index finds a wide-ranging set of changes are taking place in how employers work with young people, design their recruitment/selection processes, the data they collect and their strategies for retaining employees from different backgrounds.
