Hogan Lovells makes changes to office and practice area leadership roles

10 January 2020 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells announces today it has made a series of planned changes to some of its office and practice area leadership positions.

Commenting on the changes, global CEO of Hogan Lovells Steve Immelt said:

All the changes are effective from 1 January 2020.

Office Managing Partner changes:

  • Alicante - Imogen Fowler will be the new Office Managing Partner for our Alicante office, taking over from Andreas Renck.
  • Birmingham - Gill McGreevy will be taking over from Michael Gallimore as Head of our Birmingham office.
  • Boston - Maria Durant will be the new Office Managing Partner for our Boston office, taking over for Bill Lovett. Greg Noonan will take on the new role of Office Administrative Partner.
  • Dusseldorf - Heiko Gemmel will be the new Office Managing Partner for our office in Dusseldorf, succeeding Thomas Duenchheim. Thomas will continue his leadership responsibilities for Global Regulatory in Continental Europe.
  • Miami - Jorge Diaz-Silveira will succeed Richard Lorenzo as Miami's new Office Managing Partner.
  • Moscow - Natalia Gulyaeva will be the new Office Managing Partner of our Moscow office, succeeding Oxana Balayan.
  • New York - Michael DeLarco will be the new Office Managing Partner and Lisa Fried will be the Office Administrative Partner for our New York office. They will be taking over from Ollie Armas and Chris Donoho respectively.

Practice Area Leader changes:

  • Dan Norris will take over from Jackie Newstead as Head of Real Estate. Jackie will continue to lead the Real Estate industry sector group, the firm's fourth biggest sector by billing.
  • Ivan Zapien will be the new Practice Area Leader of Government Relations and Public Affairs. He succeeds Norm Coleman as Practice Area Leader and Robert Kyle as Administrative Partner.
  • Miriam Gundt will be taking over from Morten Petersenn as head of IPMT Europe.
