Hogan Lovells Joins LA Represents to provide Pro Bono assistance in Los Angeles in the wake of COVID-19

Los Angeles, 14 May 2020 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has joined LA Represents, a major pro bono initiative led by Mayor Eric Garcetti and City Attorney Mike Feuer, to provide legal services to low-income individuals and small businesses in Los Angeles related to issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of this initiative, attorneys from Hogan Lovells' Los Angeles office have partnered with Bet Tzedek Legal Services to assist individuals and small business owners with the multitude of issues they are facing, such as applying for financial relief programs, residential and commercial lease obligations, contract enforceability, bankruptcy, and employment concerns.

LA Represents is an unprecedented initiative comprising of a coalition of Los Angeles law firms, bar associations, and legal aid organizations that have agreed to enhance their existing pro bono commitments to provide COVID-19 related legal services. More on this initiative is here.
