Hogan Lovells advises pipeline integrity specialist NDT Global Limited on the sale of NDT Global Group to Canadian Eddyfi NDT Inc.
Led by Frankfurt partner Joachim W. Habetha, international law firm Hogan Lovells has advised NDT Global Limited on the sale of NDT Global Group, a leading global provider of non-destructive in-line inspections for oil and gas pipelines. The buyer is Eddyfi NDT Inc, a Canadian manufacturer of inspection technology.
This merger successfully connects two top suppliers in their respective markets: NDT Global as a leading provider of ultrasonic pipeline inspection and integrity services using proprietary in-line inspection robots and related data analysis, and Eddyfi Technologies as a technology provider for non-destructive testing (NDT). Global pipeline operators rely on NDT Global for the most accurate assessment of the condition of their facilities.
Hogan Lovells advised NDT Global Limited on all legal aspects relating to the sale of its shares in NDT Global Group. Hogan Lovells had already advised the present sell-side when the core business of NDT Global Group was acquired in spring 2012. Since then, NDT Global Group has significantly developed its technology and expanded as a company worldwide.
"We are pleased to have supported our client in this important strategic step with an internationally and professionally broad-based team of lawyers," said Dr. Joachim W. Habetha. "In this project, we were able to provide our client with tailor-made legal advice by means of an international team of lawyers working across practice groups."
