Hogan Lovells Advises Synopsys in Acquisition of QuantumWise

Silicon Valley, 10 October 2017 – International law firm Hogan Lovells represented Synopsys, the world's 15th largest software company, in its acquisition of QuantumWise, a leading provider of simulation tools for materials modeling in early manufacturing process development.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The Hogan Lovells team was led by Silicon Valley partners Rick Climan and Nate Gallon, and associate Lauren Zachry. John Brockland, Polly Sims and Ira Jamsinidi provided IP advice. Employee benefits matters were handled by Carin Carithers and Meg McIntyre. Babak Nikravesh advised on tax matters, and Michael Vernick and Katie Morga advised on government contracts matters.
