Carine Stoick named Hogan Lovells Office Managing Partner in Northern Virginia

Northern Virginia, 18 December 2020 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Carine Stoick has been named Office Managing Partner for the firm's Northern Virginia office effective 1 January 2021. Jon Talotta has been appointed the new Office Administrative Partner.

Stoick leads the Aerospace and Defense M&A group, is the Americas Professional Development & Diversity Partner, and previously served as Northern Virginia’s Office Administrative Partner. She has been with the firm her entire career, and has decades of experience advising both public and private companies and private equity investors on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisition transactions, multi-jurisdictional carve-out transactions, joint ventures, spin-offs, management and leveraged buy-outs, and corporate governance. Her clients operate largely in highly regulated industries including aerospace and defense, government, health care, automotive, life sciences, and transportation.

Carine succeeds Thomas Connally, who had been in the role since 2018 and will continue in his role as Practice Area Leader for Americas Litigation.

Jon Talotta is global co-leader for the firm's Securities, Shareholder, and M&A Litigation group, as well as the Northern Virginia office practice manager for Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment.
