Ina Brock

Ina helps clients to stay in control of the most complex product liability litigation and crisis communication across the globe. She has successfully handled more than 500 German court cases at all instances including the Supreme Court. She is also lead counsel in a case pending at the European Court of Justice. In addition, Ina has assisted clients in navigating and coordinating more than 60,000 claims in more than 30 countries worldwide.

She is a European market leader for product liability and life sciences and has more than 20 years of experience litigating pharma and devices liability across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. She currently coordinates the worldwide defense of the largest product liability case in the medical sector at the moment, the PIP breast implant litigation.

According to clients, Ina is a "sharp litigator" who has exceptional experience in product liability matters and is a "formidable opponent" in litigation (Who's Who Legal 2016). She is also “the first port of call” for a number of global life sciences companies in regards to cross-border product liability proceedings (Who's Who Legal 2016). Clients enthuse that "she fully understands all implications; she is a very smart lawyer who always thinks ahead, anticipates the next step and stays focused under pressure" (Chambers Global 2016). As our Managing Partner for Clients and Industries, Ina is a member of our International Management Committee.

Ina Brock co-heads the department and is widely considered to be an "outstanding lawyer" in the product liability space. Sources also praise her strong litigation capabilities.
