Dr. Fabian Pfuhl, LL.M. (Auckland)
Fabian Pfuhl is knowledgeable in defending his clients against any forms of product counterfeiting and product piracy, particularly with respect to the pharmaceutical and consumer-lifestyle sector. Fabian has in-depth knowledge, acquired by advising in a multitude of cases in these industries. Fabian's legal advice focuses on national and international clients in trademark and unfair competition matters, where he counsels both in and out of court.
Fabian regularly publishes articles in German law reviews and gives lectures on IP law topics. Inter alia, he acted as speaker at the German Pharmaceuticals Congress from 2012 to 2015. Since 2012, he has been a lecturer at the Hochschule Darmstadt where he teaches License Law and Contract Design.
Fabian studied in Bayreuth, Germany, and later on in Auckland, New Zealand, where he graduated as Master of Law. After receiving a Ph.D. in Law with a dissertation in the field of unfair competition law, he worked as an Academic Council at the Research Center for German and European Foodstuff Legislation at the University of Bayreuth.
