Dr. Fabian Pfuhl, LL.M. (Auckland)
Fabian is knowledgeable in defending his clients against any forms of product counterfeiting and product piracy, particularly with respect to the pharmaceutical and consumer-lifestyle sector, Fabian has in-depth knowledge, acquired by advising in a multitude of cases in these industries.
As a senior associate in Hogan Lovells' Frankfurt office, Fabian is a member of our IPMT Group. His legal advice focuses on national and international clients in trademark and unfair competition matters, where he counsels both in and out of court. Fabian regularly publishes articles in German law reviews and gives lectures on IP law topics. Inter alia, he acted as speaker at the German Pharmaceuticals Congress 2012 - 2015. Since 2012 he is a lecturer at the Hochschule Darmstadt where he teaches License Law and Contract Design.
Fabian studied in Bayreuth/Germany and later on in Auckland/New Zealand where he graduated as Master of Law. After receiving a Ph.D. in Law with a dissertation in the field of unfair competition law, he worked as an Academic Council at the Research Center for German and European Foodstuff Legislation at the University of Bayreuth.
