Fabian Fluechter advises national and international clients in all matters of innovation management and protection with a particular focus on technical intellectual property rights and know-how. In particular, his practice focuses on patent litigation, technology transfer and licensing law.

A further focus of his practice is advising on employee invention law issues, both in the context of court disputes as well as in the course of M&A transactions. His clients include companies in the energy sector and aviation industry, medical device manufacturers, semiconductor manufacturers and telecommunication companies.

Fabian embraces international and interdisciplinary team work. Before joining us, he worked as a legal trainee for European IP boutique firms specializing in IP litigation and international portfolio management. Working in interdisciplinary teams at a faculty of mechanical engineering in Hamburg, Fabian particularly focused on matters of knowledge management and Open Source Software and Hardware.

Advising an international aircraft equipment supplier in patent infringement proceedings relating to aircraft power and supply systems.

Advising a global manufacturer of electronic power converters, in particular with regard to litigation risks associated with the construction of a plant in Germany.

Advising a battery manufacturer, in particular with regard to standard operating procedures for the management of employee inventions.

Advising a manufacturer of valve systems in patent infringement proceedings in the field of liquid flow regulation technology.

Advising a German research institute, in particular with regard to property rights in employee inventions in form of open source software. 

Advising a food ingredient manufacturer in interim injunction proceedings.
