Navigating Compliance of Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law

Following the enactment of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (“PDP Law”), businesses (including offshore companies with no entities in Indonesia) are required to comply with the provisions under the PDP Law. Collection, processing, retention, as well as removal of personal data by businesses must be in line with the PDP Law.

As a new era dawns for the personal data protection regime in Indonesia, how can businesses achieve compliance?

We are delighted to invite you to our webinar covering the above, to be held on Thursday, 8 December 2022. The session will be moderated by Chalid Heyder, Office Managing Partner of our Jakarta office. Teguh Darmawan, Senior Associate in our Litigation, Arbitration and Employment (“LAE”) practice and Andera Rabbani, Associate in our LAE practice, will also be sharing their insights. The panel will discuss relevant issues ranging from regulatory and government to best practices, to ensure that your businesses are in compliance with the PDP Law.

We invite you to submit your questions and concerns relating to the application of the PDP Law prior to the date of the event, and will ensure that your queries are discussed and addressed accordingly during the webinar.
