Dirk Debald focuses on real estate law. During his extensive career, he gathered particular experience and exceptional knowledge in real estate and corporate law as well as in commercial tenancy law.
Dirk's advice covers the entire life cycle of property – from transactions to financing, real estate outsourcing, real estate M&A, project development, portfolio management and renting. National and international investors, mainly of the institutional kind, open- and closed-ended funds as well as private family offices all belong to his clients.
Dirk has successfully completed many deals in the past in particular for special properties such as retail and office buildings, hotels, senior citizen homes and logistics centers. These contributed to Dirk being listed as "Recommended lawyer in the real estate sector" by Best Lawyers® for Germany and being a recommended lawyer for real estate in JUVE and Chambers Europe. Dirk is the head of the Hamburg real estate department. He went to university in Trier and spent some years in our Frankfurt office after that. Dirk spent quite some time working directly for one of our clients in Great Britain.
