David Gherdane focuses on advising lenders and sponsors in relation to infrastructure and energy projects including PPPs both on project and finance issues. He has profound experience in drafting and negotiating supply, maintenance, construction, project and finance contracts.

David studied law in Hamburg, London and Oxford. 

Representative Experience

Advising an intervening party in a legal suit against the owner of an offshore wind farm with regard to the delayed grid connection.

Advising a company on the project execution as well as on the relevant disputes with regard to two export cable projects (Baltic1 and Baltic2).

Advising a company on drafting an owner's engineer agreement for a wind farm in the North Sea.

Advising DZ Bank on the financing of wind farm projects in Germany with over 200 MW in 2013.

Advising NRW.BANK on the financing of onshore and co-financing of offshore wind farm projects in Germany.
