Vera Wichers is dual-qualified as a solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience in England and Wales and as Rechtsanwältin in Germany. She focuses her practice on internal investigations, compliance and commercial litigation. Vera advises international and German clients from a broad range of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, electronics and consumer products.

Vera has experience in all areas of internal investigations, including fact gathering and the developing of defense strategies. Another focus of her work is the conducting of cross-border litigation. For the past few years, she has been advising and representing a client in a complex supply-chain dispute with civil, criminal and arbitration proceedings in Singapore, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. 

Vera obtained her law degree from the University of Cambridge. After completing her two-year training at our London office, she qualified into our London Commercial Litigation, Product Liability and Insurance practice in 2012. Vera also spent six months working in our Paris Litigation group before transferring to Munich in 2014.

Defending a leading manufacturer of industrial goods in a multi-jurisdictional supply chain dispute in civil, criminal and arbitration proceedings.

Advising one of the world's leading car manufacturers on a global internal investigation including allegations of fraud.

Supporting a globally leading mechanical engineering company to conduct a technical audit for the comprehensive evaluation of its internal procedures, guidelines and processes.

Conducting a major internal investigation with regard to bribery allegations against a leading Fortune 500 beverage company in various Asian countries.
