As a junior associate / deputy civil law notary in the Corporate & Finance practice, Joey focuses his practice on international M&A transactions and reorganizations.
Joey services clients internationally on M&A transactions and corporate restructuring. He has experience with share transactions, (cross border) mergers, split-offs and liquidations. Being qualified as a deputy civil-law notary under Dutch law, he helps with pre- and post closing restructurings and assists during the process of the transactions with all notarial and related documentation. Joey is committed to our clients by thinking out of the box and being responsive.
Representative experience
Advising a global automotive company on the cross border restructurings of their financial services division.
Advising a listed oil & gas company on the reorganisation of their European corporate and governance structure.
The carve-out and disentanglement of Stork European Business (including its turbo blading manufacturing operations) to industrial services provider, Bilfinger SE, including a cross-border merger.
Northland Power Inc. on entering into its JV with Gentari Renewables Pte. Ltd. in 2023, in which 49% of the ownership interest of the Hai Long offshore wind project located in Taiwan was transferred.
