Sven Brandt has extensive experience in asset finance, capital markets (both interest and dividend-paying stock), structured finance (including derivatives), debt repackaging and securitisation.

He focuses on asset and structured finance transactions, capital markets products and regulatory implications of securities trading and settlement. Sven was a member of both the German regulators' (BaFin) and the Association of German Banks (BdB) securitisation leading working groups.

Sven heads the firm's German debt capital markets practice.

Advising Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and Continental AG on the securitization of trade receivables of Polish and Czech Continental AG subsidiaries with a total value of €175m.

Advising FCE Globaldrive Auto Receivables 20013-A on the €60bn securitization of auto loans of Ford Bank.

Advising Iveco on the pan-European securitization of auto loans (€600m) and on the securitization of European leasing and loan receivables (€562m).

Advising FMS Wertmanagement on its EUR 60bn debt issuance program.

Advising Claas KG aA and its subsidiaries in France, Italy and the US on the securitization of receivables consisting of deliveries and services towards the trader network of Claas KGaA (EUR 250m and USD 75m).

Advising the German Financial Market Stabilisation Agency (FMSA) on the restructuring and split-up of WestLB by transfer of a portfolio consisting of risk assets and non-strategic business units in the total nominal amount of approx. EUR 100bn to Erste Abwicklungsanstalt and a portfolio of risk assets in the total nominal amount of approx. EUR 40bn to Helaba.

Advising FMS Wertmanagement on the transfer of risk assets and non-strategic business units from Hypo Real Estate Group (HRE) with a nominal value of approx. EUR 173bn.

Advising Volkswagen Financial Services on its EUR 4bn lease receivables securitisation program.
