Aida Rodriguez is an Associate in the International Arbitration team in the Madrid office. Aida’s work focuses on international arbitration and litigation in arbitration-related court proceedings.
Aida has acted as counsel and tribunal secretary in several cases in venues across Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, administered by the main arbitral institutions (ICC, PCA, ICSID, SCC, CAM, among others).
She has particular experience in commercial and investor-State arbitration, related to the regulation of foreign investments, particularly in the energy (oil & gas and natural resources), engineering and infrastructure sectors.
Aida also maintains an active pro bono practice and has recently participated in a project for a State, on the legal risks under International Investment Agreements arising from the implementation of the Global Minimum Tax.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Aida practiced at leading firms in London, where she focused on investor-State international arbitrations.

Representing a U.S. oil and gas company against the operator of a gas project in Africa in relation to a dispute arising from that project*
Representing a Luxembourg company in the annulment proceedings of an international CIMA award before the Spanish courts
