Institutionalizing the work of nonprofits in Mexico

Last year our Mexico offices supported 50+ nonprofit organizations with pro bono legal advice and delivered 15 legal workshops to nonprofit member networks. The aim of these organizations are diverse, from social justice to legal advice for vulnerable people.

We are committed to strengthening and scaling the impact of nonprofits across the country. In support of this we analyzed the effects that a proposed tax reform would have for nonprofits. We participated in the discussion and presentation of the reform in the Open Parliament of Chamber Deputies for the 2021 economic budget in order to modify the tax reforms. We also participated as moderators and speakers in several webinars to explain the new changes and what this would mean in practice.
