Our Shanghai office once again worked with 3M China and organized a pro bono workshop for local social enterprises.
We collaborated with Non Profit Incubator, the largest intermediary organization that supports social enterprises in China, as well as TrustLaw, to extend the reach of local social enterprises and to utilize their expertise in designing the program.
At the workshop, lawyers and counsel from 3M discussed some common legal issues faced by social enterprises, in particular the areas of employment, commercial operations, and intellectual property. The volunteers ran a legal health check exercise with each social enterprise.
