Clauses for climate change

We are proud sponsors and pro bono advisers to The Chancery Lane Project: a cross-profession commitment from lawyers from around the world to develop new contracts and model laws to help fight climate change.

We have contributed to the Chancery Lane Playbooks. This is a ground-breaking resource available to the commercial legal practice which sets out precedents for use without charge in a number of industry sector areas. Each piece of drafting has been given a child's name as a reminder that this is connected to the next generation.

We understand that the clauses that are drafted cannot just exist in the Playbooks. They must be taken up and used for the unique circumstances of the client, project or jurisdiction. We continue to be available to all of our clients to discuss how these clauses might assist with their aspiration to achieve net zero.
