Appellate victory

On March 24, 2021 the en banc Ninth Circuit issued a landmark decision in Young v. Hawaii. The court upheld the state of Hawaii’s law restricting open-carry of firearms, holding that the Second Amendment does not protect the claimed constitutional right for ordinary citizens to openly carry firearms outside the home. Hawaii retained the firm to seek en banc review after initially losing the case before a panel.
