When it comes to deals, companies look for efficiency and business savvy. Quimby Pierce brings both to her clients. She helps them with general corporate transactional work as well as public company securities work. She has helped companies in industries as diverse as defense, consumer products, entertainment, and media.

Quimby has represented U.S. and international publicly traded companies as well as private companies in a variety of transactions, including private placements, corporate restructuring, divestments, and acquisitions. Her experience with publicly traded companies has ranged from IPOs, spin-offs, and going private transactions to secondary and follow-on offerings of equity and debt securities. She has also represented several public companies in connection with their period reporting requirements and securities compliance.

Quimby began her legal career before attending law school, working for a major record label as a contract administrator. In that role, she negotiated ancillary agreements, tracked contractual requirements for all recording artists and helped to develop the label's motion picture production arm.
