Connie Potter assists food and beverage companies at all levels of the supply chain navigate complex state and federal regulations and accomplish their business goals in an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
Connie advises clients in the food, beverage, and dietary supplement industries on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) labeling, advertising, food safety, and agency enforcement. Connie also assists with drafting comments on proposed regulations, navigating import/export issues, and mapping regulatory pathways for new, innovative products. Connie has experience with matters pertaining to regulation of animal foods, drugs, cannabis products, and consumer products.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Connie graduated from the American University Washington College of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the American University Law Review and interned at the USDA Office of the General Council and U.S. Department of Commerce Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement & Compliance.
