Hogan Lovells strengthens Compliance & Investigations team with Olaf Schneider

September 10th, 2020 - Hogan Lovells announced today that Compliance specialist Olaf Schneider will join the firm and become a partner at in the Compliance & Investigations department. His first day with the firm is on 16 September.

Olaf Schneider was most recently General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer as well as Executive Vice President at the industrial services provider Bilfinger. Prior to this position, he was General Counsel of Siemens' industrial division and Chief Compliance Officer at MAN. He has also held various management positions at General Electric.

Olaf Schneider has extensive national and international experience in complex legal and compliance issues and is a recognised practitioner and compliance expert. Among other things, he has guided MAN through various compliance topics and was responsible at Bilfinger for the successful completion of the monitoring process imposed by the US DoJ by implementing an effective global compliance management system. This was certified by the independent Compliance Monitor appointed by the DoJ.

In his new role, Olaf Schneider will be part of a 60-person team spread across Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Berlin.
