Hogan Lovells advises Dialog Semiconductor on their acquisition of Creative Chips

Led by Munich partner Volker Geyrhalter Hogan Lovells has advised the chip developer Dialog Semiconductor on the acquisition of German semiconductor manufacturer Creative Chips GmbH. 

Mid-sized company Creative Chips based in Bingen am Rhein specializes in the manufacturing of integrated circuits for the German industrial and automotive markets.

Headquartered near London, Dialog Semiconductor is a provider of highly integrated semiconductor solutions for power management, audio and short-range wireless communications. The acquisition will give Dialog Semiconductor access to the growing Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market.

The purchase price for the acquisition amounts to approx. USD 80 million plus an additional contingent consideration of up to USD 23 million, based on future revenue targets in 2020 and 2021.
