Hogan Lovells advises IMACTIS on its acquisition by GE HealthCare

Paris, 10 January 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised IMACTIS on its acquisition by GE HealthCare, a leading global medical company.

Founded in 2009 by Stephane Lavallee and Lionel Carrat, IMACTIS is a France-based innovator in the rapidly growing field of computed tomography (CT) interventional guidance across an array of care areas.

This acquisition will allow GE Healthcare to strengthen its capabilities in Interventional Guidance and to pursue its development.

The consummation of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including review by the relevant governmental authorities in France.

The Hogan Lovells team was led by Matthieu Grollemund and Hélène Parent (partners), and composed of Merwan Becharef (senior associate), Arnaud Biancheri and Ombeline Despres (associates) in corporate; Marion Guertault (partner) and Cristina Sanchez Herran (associate) in employment law; Eric Paroche (partner) and Céline Verney (senior associate) in antitrust. In the United States the Hogan Lovells team was composed of Scott Friedman and Martha Steinman (partners) in Tax and Tao Leung (partner) in employment law.
